From the Beginning
Learning. Teaching. Sharing.
Meadow Oaks Montessori opened in August 2020. We are conveniently located in the former Shelton School building on the Northeast corner of Hillcrest and Arapaho in North Dallas. We serve children ages 12 months-6 years (Kindergarten). We offer flexible schedules for busy children and busy parents who stay at home, work from home or work away from home.
Meet The Team
Susan Dendinger
Executive Director
Mrs. Dendinger has a professional career in Montessori leadership and education that spans over a 21-year period. She founded Pebblecreek Montessori in 2001 where she served as the Head of School for 16 years.
Focusing on quality education, while utilizing authentic Montessori practices, Mrs. Dendinger successfully recruits and retains the highest caliber of Montessori educators in the area who share her vision and belief in implementing and maintaining standards of excellence in education.
Mrs. Dendinger joined Meadow Oaks Montessori in September of 2020. Under her leadership, the school has grown and is thriving with the addition of a toddler program, a Spanish program and a music program.
Mrs. Dendinger has led and participated in training workshops for AMS Annual Conferences, The Dallas Montessori Teacher Education Program, the Annual International Montessori Council’s Conference, and the DFW Montessori Association’s workshops. She recently joined the teaching faculty at Loyola University, Baltimore where she has been recruited as an instructor for a class in Montessori Leadership and currently instructs and serves as a field advisor for AMS.
Mrs. Dendinger is a passionate and colorful instructor who devoted most of her professional career to building and maintaining quality Montessori programs.
Her own three sons thrived in the Montessori environment, and she attributes their current and past successes to a strong Montessori foundation.
Deepa Medhusudhan
Primary Lead Guide
Ms. Deepa earned her Primary (3-6) Montessori diploma through the Association Montessori Society (AMS) . She has over 20 years of experience in Montessori education.
Ms. Deepa is a creative, passionate guide who works to build a strong rapport with students and their parents. She is well regarded in the Montessori community.
Prior to joining Meadow Oaks Montessori in July 2022, she taught at Montessori School of North Dallas for 16 years.
In her free time, she likes to go on walks, and yoga.
Ahmadi Mandana
Lead Toddler Guide
Ms. Mandy earned infant/toddler Montessori certification through AMS. She has taught at Montessori schools in the North Dallas area for over a decade and joined Meadow Oaks in Fall of 2020 to lead our newly added toddler program.
She is nurturing, kind and well loved by our youngest students and their parents.
Sumti Chusnah Nekoui
Primary Lead Guide
"Ms. Chusnah" earned in Montessori certification in 2009 and a second certification 2018 from NTMI (North Texas Montessori Institute) in 2018. She spent over a decade at North Dallas Montessori before joining Meadow Oaks in April 2022.
Ms. Chusnah has been married for 21 years and has two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling. reading, gardening and cooking.
Her teaching philosophy is every child deserves the best education opportunity possible,
